The Union Civil Service Commission (UPSC) made another important announcement along with the new audit data sheet on Friday. The Commission announced that the recruitment test for the post of EO / AO in EPFO ​​has been postponed until further notice. The exam was scheduled to take place on October 4, but has been postponed. The online application process for the exam started on January 31.

Recruit 421 vacancies

UPSC needs to fill 421 vacancies through various recruitment tests. Within the scope of this hiring, the hiring takes place in the areas of the Enforcement Officer / Accounting Officer, Organization of the Employees Provident Fund, Ministry of Labor and Employment etc. Of these 168 vacancies, 116 are for the non-reserved category, 116 for OBC, 62 for SC, 42 for EWS and 33 for ST.

New exam calendar published

Earlier, on Friday, the Commission announced the new date for the preliminary civil service review. According to the published data sheet, the preliminary public service UPSC review will take place on October 4, 2020. During the main exam takes place on January 8th. The UPSC had previously issued a notice informing that “a new review sheet will be released after the inventory is reviewed on June 5.”
