The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has given candidates the opportunity to apply for the Engineering Service Principal Examination (UPSC ESE) and the Combined Geoscientist Examination (2020 Combined Geoscientist Examination). The commission has reopened the correction window to change the exam center for candidates. Candidates can change the exam center through September 13th via the UPSC official website upsc.gov.in.
Apply by September 13th
Candidates can request a change of location for these two exams by 6 p.m. on September 13. UPSC has issued a notification that due to Corona, if candidates have difficulty taking the exam from the already selected center, they can make changes to their exam center via the website.
The exam will take place in October
These examinations are being delayed due to the ever increasing cases of corona. UPSC later posted the revised dates for the June exam on the website. According to the new schedule, the preliminary examination for the public service will take place on October 4th. The admission card for the exam has already been issued on the UPSC website. The main examination for engineering services will take place on October 18 and the main examination for combined geoscientists will take place on October 17 and 18.
