UPPSC RO, ARO exams postponed

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) postponed the review for the recruitment of the Verification Officer (RO) and Deputy Verification Officer (ARO) in 2016. The exam should take place earlier on September 13th. It will now take place on September 20th.

In addition, the commission has allowed candidates to choose the exam center’s district closer to their city. The UPPSC RO, ARO exam is held in 17 UP districts. Candidates can choose three preferred exam center districts. The 17 districts include Agra, Ayodhaya, Azamgarh, Barabanki, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Mathura, Meerut, Muradabad, Prayagraj, Raebareli and Varanasi.

Candidates can visit the official website at uppsc.up.nic.in to select the district preference. The final date for the district preference election is August 27th.

The UPPSC RO, ARO pre-examination consists of two papers, namely General Studies and General Hindi. The exam takes two hours. The exam is assessed with 200 points.
