With the fourth phase of the blocking, the evaluation of the copies of the UP board exams begins on May 5. But because of the ban, the teachers aren’t ready for it. In this context, the teacher MLA Suresh Tripathi wrote a letter to the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Secondary Education demanding that the assessment be made after the ban or by sending copies to the examiner’s house.
A total of 275 centers built for evaluation
The letter, written on behalf of the MLA, states that the ban will last until May 17. In such a situation, UP Board high school and interim answer sheets cannot be rated. Public transport is currently closed, making it difficult for teachers to reach the centers. According to media reports, the board had set up a total of 275 copy evaluation centers. In which approximately 1.47 Lakh teachers were appointed to evaluate the copies.
Mind social distancing
Aside from that, Aradhana Shukla, chief secretary of the Secondary Education Department, has instructed Section 144 to be within 100 meters of the Evaluation Center in each district and not to allow anyone into the center. In addition to the social distance in the centers, teachers were instructed to sit at least 2 meters away, and all testers and staff had to wear masks and globs. All examination centers were asked to refurbish prior to admission, to subject examiners and employees to a thermal examination and to bundle the answer sheets.
