up bed jee 2020: NSUI protests against holding the joint entrance examination UP BEd on August 9
PRAYAGRAJ: The decision by the state government to hold the 2020 entrance exam for Uttar Pradesh B.Ed was rejected by the student leaders of Allahabad University.

The admission ticket for the entrance test, organized by Lucknow University, was uploaded on Monday evening. After the tickets were released, the student leaders protested in the union hall of Allahabad University on Tuesday.

Even AICC Vice President Priyanka Gandhi Vadra raised the issue on her Facebook page. She writes: “B.Ed’s entrance exam will take place on August 9th in UP. The spread of the corona in the state is increasing rapidly. There have also been cases of corona infections from various educational institutions. In such a situation, it does not seem appropriate to risk around 4.5 lakh students without assessing the safety of the students. The UP government is urged to rethink the audit plan, taking into account current circumstances. ”

A group of student leaders, members of the National Student Union of India (NSUI), protested the testing of this global pandemic by wearing a black ribbon over their mouths. The protest was led by former AUSU Vice President Akhilesh Yadav.

Yadav, who announced his protest, said, “On the one hand, the cases of corona are increasing and people are reluctant to leave their homes. In such a situation, there is much anger among the students about the government announcing the exam date on August 9 ”. This decision by the state government is unfortunate and plays with the safety of the students during this pandemic.
