The University Grants Commission (UGC) has instructed all universities and colleges to organize webinars on the new national education policy on the occasion of Teachers Day. The UGC has issued a notice in this regard. The Commission has asked all Vice Chancellors to organize a webinar in the context of the new National Education Policy 2020 for the celebrations for Teachers’ Day on September 5th.

The UGC states that as part of the new National Education Policy 2020, comprehensive transformation reforms have been introduced in both higher education and schools. PM Modi also said that when one teacher learns, the whole nation learns. Therefore, on September 5th this year, we will discuss the role of teachers in all universities and colleges.
