Prof. Tiwari shared his vision to implement all requirements of NEP-2020 at the CUPB
Bathinda: The Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB), met the Governor of Punjab V.P. Singh Badnore in the Punjab Raj Bhava in Chandigarh.
During his meeting, Prof. Tiwari assessed the governor of Punjab on the creation and growth of CUPB in the short span of 11 years. He said the university sets new standards in education and research and, at 87, is the youngest central university to be among the top 100 universities in Indiath Position in the NIRF India Rankings 2020 in a very short time. For this, the credit goes to the faculty and the staff.
During the interaction, Prof. Tiwari explained that the innovative reforms introduced in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 really make it a Bharat-centered education policy that provides us with a roadmap for independent Bharat, the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji on creating a new India. He shared that it is currently his vision and mission to fully implement all the requirements of NEP-2020 at CUPB and make quality education accessible to all so that the youth of the state can take advantage of the best opportunities at affordable costs. Prof. Tiwari shared his vision of serving the land of Punjab and stated that CUPB’s fee structure is the lowest in the state. The only goal of keeping this fee this low is to make quality education affordable and accessible to all.
Prof. Tiwari also affirmed that CUPB is committed to creating new knowledge through research, providing youngsters with maximum opportunities to develop skills, developing scientific temperament, promoting innovation and producing global intellectual citizens who are well connected to our ancient values .
V.P. Singh Badnore appreciated the CUPB faculty and students for their remarkable efforts. He commended Prof. Tiwari for his vision and mission and conveyed his best wishes for future efforts at CUPB.
