The UGC-NET exam has been postponed and is scheduled to take place on September 24th
NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Education’s testing center postponed the national aptitude test (NET) on Monday because the data clashed with those of the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) test.

The NET should be held from September 16 to 25. It will now be carried out from September 24th.

“The National Testing Agency will conduct ICAR exams on September 16, 17, 22 and 23. In light of this, the UGC-NET 2020 exam will take place on September 24,” said Sadhana Parashar, Senior Director, NTA.

“This is due to some common candidates in both exams and their inquiries. The exact timetable for technical and shift-related details will be uploaded afterwards,” she added.

The exam in June 2020 and various other exams had to be postponed due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the resulting lockdown. The new schedule for various exams was published by the NTA in the last week of August.
