The Supreme Court has refused to hear the plea that students studying in universities across the country apply for an exemption from paying tuition fees in a timely manner. In this context, guidelines from BCI and UGC should be issued. A bench of three judges made up of Judges Ashok Bhushan, Justice R. Subhash Reddy, and Justice MR Shah has refused to hear the case.
Law student filed a petition
A petition to this effect was submitted by fourth year student Rummy Rana. The petition submitted said that under the current circumstances, students should not be forced to deposit the entire fee at once. You should have some time for this. The attorney who appeared on behalf of the student in the case said the students are only asking for some time to collect the fees and not the fee waiver. Judge Bhushan said the Supreme Court had previously dismissed such cases. At the same time, the bank had stated that all universities and states have different conditions and requirements, so students should take this matter up in the High Court.
Some of the schools will open from September 21st
All schools and colleges, including educational institutions, have been closed since March when Corona knocked in the country. At the same time, Unlocking Guideline 4 issued by the government assumed that schools and colleges could open, but the ever-increasing outbreak makes it difficult to do so at the moment. However, the government has given permission to partially open the school from September 9th to September 12th from September 21st. Parents’ permission to students is required to go to school.
