A bank owned by Supreme Judge Raghvendra Singh Chauhan and Judge B Vijaysen Reddy asked Advocate General BS Prasad to ensure that there is a proper announcement from the Commissioner for Higher Education within the next 24 hours. “All colleges attached to different universities will have offline exams and the autonomous colleges will have online exams,” the judges said when they heard a petition from NSUI President BV Narsinga Rao and others speaking out against exams during this pandemic .
Her attorney, C Damodar Reddy, said, “Parents and students are in a panic and online exams will bring relief.” He also said there were no clear answers on whether the questionnaires were the same for affiliated and autonomous colleges. “Those who are not interested in exams can stay behind. The state government has given assurances that advanced additional exams will take place later and that those who also take such exams will be treated as regular students, ”said the judges. They went on to say, “We have approved exams from medical grade X and PG. We cannot set any other benchmark for PG and UG courses. ”
