Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu hailed Teachers Day on Saturday, saying it was a day to thank all of the teachers who have worked tirelessly on the plight of the pandemic to prevent academic disruption.

Teachers’ Day is celebrated on the occasion of the birthday of the country’s second president, S. Radhakrishnan.

“I wish you all a very happy teachers day. Today we would like to thank all the teachers who have worked tirelessly on the plight of the pandemic to prevent academic disruption for the students, ”tweeted the secretariat of Vice President Quoting Naidu. “Let us salute your dedication, courage, and selfless service,” he said.

Naidu also paid tribute to Radhakrishnan on his birthday.

“He was an excellent teacher, philosopher, scholar, statesman and author. His life, work and heritage will inspire every Indian, ”said the Vice President.
