Today is celebrated nationwide as Teachers’ Day. September 5th is celebrated each year on the birthday of the first Vice President of Independent India and the second President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, celebrated as Teacher’s Day. On this occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union’s Minister of Education, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, thanked the teacher and wished everyone a happy Teacher’s Day.
