Petition filed on August 28th

While the court was making a decision on August 17 regarding the students’ request to postpone the exam, it ordered the exam to be held according to the schedule. The petition tabled against this court’s decision will be heard in the Supreme Court today, Friday 4th September. States submitting the petition include the governments of Punjab, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra. All of these states together filed a petition for review with the Supreme Court on August 28, 2020.

JEE Main from September 1st

Given the epidemic across the country and the flood situation in many states, there has been a call for the exams to be postponed by students, parishes, several student organizations and political parties. At the same time, the NTA has started the JEE main exams with all guidelines that are necessary to protect against corona despite protests. The JEE Main, which began on September 1st, will run until September 6th. The NEET for medical admission will take place on September 13th.
