GHAZIABAD: The Ghaziabad Parents’ Association open-ended hunger strike began its fifth day on Sunday because of their demands, including waiving all school fees for the months of April, May and June.

One protester told ANI: “Two protesters were hospitalized, but no representative from the administrator came to speak to us.”

The excited demonstrators had previously complained that the district inspector of schools (DIOS) was not taking any action in this regard.

In particular, a three-month fee waiver was requested after the COVID-19 pandemic hit the country. Parents from across the country have participated in several social media campaigns and written letters to officials.
