The online registration and application process ends on September 16. Candidates can pay fees until September. The exam will take place on September 27th and the result will be published on October 5th.
The best 2.5 lakh candidates from JEE Main can apply for the JEE Advanced. The JEE Main is planned for September 1-6, 2020. The JEE Main outcome is expected to be published by September 10th.
The JEE Advanced exam is condemned by the IITs for admission to undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor, Integrated Master, or Bachelor-Master dual degree in engineering, science, or architecture.
JEE Advanced Paper Pattern
The exam consists of two papers (Work 1 and Work 2), each lasting three hours. Both papers are mandatory. Each question paper consists of three separate sections, namely physics, chemistry and math. Wrong answers to some of the questions may result in negative marks.
The exam takes place according to the following schedule:
- Examination date: Sunday, September 27, 2020
- Lecture 1 takes place from 09:00 IST to 12:00 IST
- Paper 2 takes place from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm IST
JEE Advanced 2020 Admit Card
Candidates who have successfully registered for JEE (Advanced) 2020 can download the admission card from the online registration portal – jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced 2020 admission ticket is available from Monday, September 21, 2020, 10:00 a.m. IST to Sunday, September 27, 2020, 9:00 a.m. IST.
The admission card contains the following information about the applicant: name, role number for JEE (Advanced) 2020, photo, signature, date of birth, correspondence address and category.
In addition, the admission card contains the name and address of the examination center assigned to the candidate.
