Rajasthan Police Constable Exam Date 2020: The Rajasthan Police Recruitment Board has announced the date of its police officer (DG, Driver) recruitment exams. According to an official press release, the recruitment exam will be held on November 6th, 7th and 8th. Previously, the exam was provisionally scheduled for May, which was postponed due to a Covid-19 pandemic.
The recruitment campaign aims to fill 5,438 police vacancies in 59 units. According to official information, around 17.5 lakh aspirants have applied for the positions.
Bhupendra Singh, Director General of Police, Rajasthan, said the exam will be conducted with due consideration of the necessary precautions and safety protocols to protect candidates from coronavirus infection.
Selection process: Candidates must pass a written test followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST). The written exam is objective and contains 150 questions.
The written exam consists of 150 objective questions with a total of 75 points. The exam lasts 2 hours. The exam mode is offline and OMR based. For each wrong answer 25% of the points will be deducted.
The exam covers questions from general knowledge of computational and logical thinking, general sciences, general studies, social sciences and contemporary issues, legal provisions for crime against women and children, knowledge of rules, history, culture, art, geography, economics and politics of Rajasthan.
