Punjab: This time no curfew on Sunday to facilitate the NEET exam
CHANDIGARH: To facilitate the movement of students attending the NEET exam, Punjab Prime Minister Amarinder Singh announced on Friday that there would be no curfew in the state this Sunday, September 13th. However, non-essential stores would remain closed, he said.

Although the state government imposed a curfew in all urban cities on Sunday, an exception would be made that Sunday, allowing free movement, he said.

Students will have no problem reaching their exam centers, Amarinder said in response to an Abohar resident’s concern about the issue during the #AskCaptain Live session on Facebook.

In response to a complaint from a Muktsar resident about a school removing a student from the online education group for non-payment of the fee, Amarinder said he directed the DC to resolve the matter itself that morning. Amarinder said he was told that the applicant’s daughter was now allowed to attend her courses.
