At the grand finale of the Smart India Hackathon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will communicate with the students on August 1st at 7 p.m. Every year PM students meet to find technical solutions to software and hardware problems at the hackathon. During this time, the Prime Minister will also encourage students to develop more and more technology in self-sufficient India.

Grand finale from August 1st to 3rd

In this context, a meeting was held with AICTE representatives for the grand finale, chaired by Minister for Human Resources Development Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. The grand finale of the Smart India Hackathon 2020 will take place from August 1st to 3rd. A team of ten thousand students from across the country will solve 243 technology problems.

4.5 lakh students participated

The fourth edition of this competition was attended by 4.5 lakh students. Screening of the first stage took place at college level in January. The winning teams were then reviewed nationally by experts and judges, with ten thousand students taking part in the grand finale.

Three winners will receive prizes

There are three winners of this competition. A lakh rupee is awarded to the first winner, 75,000 rupees to the second and 50,000 rupees to the third winner. Apart from that, a price of Rs 1 Lakh will be awarded for solving each problem.
