The one-week FDP on research ethics and characterization techniques in materials science was introduced by Dr. Vimal Rarh, the National Coordinator of the FDP.

Sundaresan, Professor and Chair of Chemistry and Physics of Materials, JNCASR, Bengaluru, and Dr. Madhu Chennabasappa, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Physics, Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumakuru are the other professionals involved in specialized courses on X-ray diffraction. Up to 316 faculty members and scientists from around the world participate in this program.
