There will be no lockdown or closure in the cities in Odisha that host NEET and JEE exams from August 30th to September 7th and September 12th to 14th and September 12th to 14th, the said Government of Odisha on Friday.
“In the exam cities in Odisha there will be no lockdown or shutdown from August 30th and September 7th and from September 12th and September 14th,” said an order.
The order also stipulated that all COVID-19 safety standards must be complied with in the investigation centers with regard to the pandemic.
“The organizers will ensure that all security protocols related to COVID-19, such as B. physical distancing, wearing masks, no spitting in public places, personal hygiene and hygiene, etc., are properly observed in the center. The district authority will ensure this outside the test center as well, ”she added.
Meanwhile, Odisha chief secretary Asit Tripathy said the state government had decided to allow JEE and NEET in the state to have free transportation and accommodation to the canid dates.
Previously, Prime Minister Naveen Patnaik had written to the Union’s HRD Minister and spoke with the Prime Minister to postpone the NEET and JEE exams.
The National Testing Agency will conduct the NEET on September 13th and the JEE exams between September 1st and 6th.
