No decision yet to re-examine Maharashtra SSC & HSC

MUMBAI: Without a decision by the State Education Board about the SSC and HSC re-examination this year, teachers said that students who failed did not either have enough time to prepare for the test when it is announced, or lose the chance to attend the next academic class without losing a year.

The teachers want the board to find a way out soon. “Since the timetable is not yet clear, students are concerned. Whenever the state decides to take the exam, it must give enough time to prepare for the exam. If the exam is very delayed, the students lose a second chance. College admissions are already underway, “said Rajesh Pandya, a member of the Teachers’ Democratic Fund.

The board authorities said they still have a decision to make.
