The central government issued a new Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) on Wednesday to conduct the entrance and final exams for the coronavirus that is widespread in the country. According to the new guidelines, students and staff living in the security zone are not allowed to enter the exam center. For such students, the exam will be taken in a different way or the institute will decide on the next exam date.

Teachers and students must provide a self-declaration form

According to the new SOP of the Union Ministry of Health, only students without symptoms are allowed to take the exam. For this purpose, teachers and students must submit a self-declaration form to be corona free. If during the examination at the examination center it is found that a student with no symptoms has corona infection, they must take an examination in the isolation room.

SOP approved for more than ten entrance exams

The new guideline also states that pregnant women, middle-class and sick teachers will not have an obligation either. In fact, the Union Ministry of Health has issued new SOPs with regard to more than ten entrance exams, including the final exam of JEE, NEET, colleges that all institutes and universities must follow the new SOP.

These must be followed as part of the Ministry of Health’s new SOP

  • There will be a seating arrangement based on six feet apart.
  • Students need to be rehabilitated before taking the bus.
  • Posters must be installed in institutions to take precautionary measures from Corona.
  • The window should be open to fresh air in every room in the examination center.
  • When AC is, the temperature of all rooms is 24 to 30 degrees.
  • Apart from that, the humidity can be between 40 and 70 percent.
  • Everyone should have the Arogya Setu app.
  • In addition, more test centers need to be built to reduce congestion.
  • Wear a three-layer mask and use a disinfectant that contains alcohol.
  • According to the seating plan of each room, the exam director reviews the rules of social distancing.
  • After the online exam, the computer, mouse, keyboard and desk must be disinfected.
  • Students can bring bottles of water from home. Drinking water must also be placed in the middle. Disposable glass must be kept.

You need to go to the hospital after getting symptoms

If a student finds a cold, cold, fever, or other symptom upon arrival at the investigation center during the examination, he must immediately make the facility available to the hospital. This student’s covid-19 exam will be taken. After that, its test will be carried out later on the basis of the new data sheet.

The answer sheet will not be opened for 72 hours

Upon completion of the exam, the answer sheet will be packed and disinfected and will not be opened for 72 hours. During this time, these packages are not even handed over. At the same time, the examiner must wash and disinfect his hands before distributing the question paper. We must also wear gloves and masks when handing out the question paper.
