NEW DELHI: The education policy drafted by the Modi government is in harmony with the soul of the country and will make India a “Vishva Guru” again, said BJP President JP Nadda on Saturday.

On the occasion of Teachers Day, Nadda interacted via video conference with teachers at his school and university and asked them about their wellbeing, the BJP said in a statement.

Talking to his teachers about the new educational policy, Nadda said, for the first time since independence, that an educational policy was being designed to match the soul of India.

The new education policy will transform the country’s image and emerge as a “Vishva Guru,” said Nadda, adding that it will create an environment where students can be successful in their lives.
