The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a recommendation for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2020, which will take place in September. The protocol issued by the agency ensured that around 15 lakh students could take the exam through social distancing.

The review process is non-contact

In the guidelines issued, the examination before the examination, during the examination and at the end of the examination is divided into three parts. The entire examination process is non-contact to prevent infection. Candidates are given schedules for reporting to avoid overloading the lot at the exam center. The temperature of all employees and candidates is also examined. If someone shows signs of coronavirus during this time, they will be kept in a separate isolation room.

The temperature test is carried out twice

Upon reaching the examination center, one student at a time will be left. Apart from that, other documents are checked. The entry ticket, government photo ID, etc. must be identified. This entire process takes 15 to 20 minutes. During this time no documents belonging to the candidates will be touched. Then the student’s temperature is checked again. At the same time, after the examination process has been completed, the students are given the room number and the seat.

Think about these things, candidates

  • Masks on the mouth and gloves on the hands
  • Bring a bottle of clear drinking water
  • It is allowed to bring a 50 ml transparent hand sanitiser bottle
  • The metal detector checks the students to prevent copying
  • Do not bring any metal products, etc.
  • The examination takes place without direct contact with the metal detector
  • Take the documents related to the exam with you along with your admission ticket and official photo ID.
  • They need to get permission before going to the bathroom.

The teachers will not enter the room

Given the social distancing, supervisors cannot move between students in the exam room. He will sit and monitor from a distance. Apart from that, only 50 percent of the workers in the class will be present. Before receiving help from supervisors or teachers on duty, the student must sanitize their hands and follow social distancing.

Examination room is organized

  • The walls of the examination center, the table chair, the computer, the grand piano etc. are cleaned before the examination begins.
  • The room numbers in the corridor must be written in capital letters so that there is no problem finding candidates.
  • Loudspeakers will be used for the first time during the exam so that candidates can be informed remotely.
  • The test center tests Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Then NTA uses the jammer.
