The NEET-UG 2020, which will take place on Sunday September 13th for admission to medicine, will be attended by around 15 lakh candidates. Reasonable precautions have been taken to ensure that the safety of candidates taking this exam will take place during the Corona period. In this context, the Union Ministry of Health recently issued a revised Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for performing the test. The test is now carried out under this SOP. Aside from that, the NTA has also provided information about the things that need to be taken at the exam center in order to appear on the exam. A dress code and other guidelines were also issued.

This is the dress code

  • Candidates are allowed to wear depending on the exam season.
  • Students are allowed to wear jeans, salwar suits, kurtas, long skirts, trousers, t-shirts and shirts.
  • You cannot wear full-sleeved shirts or large buttoned clothing during the exam.
  • No candidate can wear shoes. Candidates must wear open toe sandals or slippers when taking the exam.
  • Jewelry is not allowed in exams. Only some pieces of jewelry are allowed according to religious custom. To do this, the candidates must arrive at the center early for review.

These guidelines must be followed with regard to Corona

  • It is mandatory to keep a distance of six to six feet from outside the exam center.
  • All candidates must take the exam with a three-layer mask and globs.
  • Students taking the exam are required to provide a self-certified statement that they are not infected with corona.
  • Students with a fever, cold, cough, or other staff will not be allowed into the center.
  • Bring the pen from home for this exam. Cannot unwind pen or pencil in the examination hall.
  • Students are required to put a thumbprint on plain paper from home.
  • Students must bring a transparent water bottle and disinfectant.
  • Candidates are thermally scanned before entering the campus.

These things are prohibited

No watch type, pocket calculator, electronic device including geometry or pencil box, paper, stationery, mobile phone, microphone, calculator, protocol tables, camera, tape recorder and electronic watch are allowed during the exam.
