Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday proposed for students taking the NEET-JEE exams, urging the central government to listen to their complaints and find a friendly solution.
Given the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country, students called for medical and technical entrance exams to be postponed.
Gandhi said NEET-JEE aspirants are concerned about their health and future as they have concerns about coronavirus infection and flooding in Assam and Bihar.
“NEET-JEE aspirants are concerned about their health and future. They have real concerns: fear of being infected with Covid19, transportation and housing during a pandemic and flood chaos in Assam and Bihar, ”he said on Twitter.
“The Indian government needs to listen to everyone involved and find an acceptable solution,” he said.
The former Congress President also called the Modi government “anti-students” and used a hashtag to refer to it.
