A view of the Supreme Court of India

The Supreme Court will hear three petitions on Wednesday requesting the postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), citing the Covid 19 pandemic.

The matter is being heard by a three-judge bank headed by Judge Ashok Bhushan.

The Supreme Court on August 28 rejected a motion by students requesting postponement of the joint entrance examination (JEE) and NEET.

“Life must go on,” the Supreme Court had noted when it dismissed this case.

The JEE then took place as scheduled from September 1 to 6.

A review request by 6 ministers from non-BJP-governed countries against the resolution of August 28th was also rejected by the highest court on September 4th.

NEET is scheduled to take place on September 13th.
