National education policy 2020: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend a conference with President Ram Nath Kovind, university governors and vice-chancellors, on national education policy 2020 and its impact on transformation.
PM Modi wrote on Twitter: “Tomorrow, September 7th, at 10:30 am I will be attending a conference with Rashtrapati Ji, governors and VCs of universities on the 2020 national education policy and its impact on transformation. The reflection on this conference will intensify our efforts to make India a center of knowledge. “
The conference, entitled “Role of NEP-2020 in Transforming Higher Education”, was organized by the Indian Ministry of Education.
The new national education policy aims to make India a just and lively knowledge society. It envisions an India-focused education system that is directly helping to transform India into a global superpower.
Education ministers from all states, vice-chancellors of state universities and other high-ranking officials also attend the governors’ conference.
