Usman, a student at Hira International School, received 98.2 percent of grade 12 exams.
“More than the grades, it was my interaction with the Prime Minister that gave me immense pleasure. I am overjoyed and cannot explain what I feel in words,” he said hours after the program was broadcast.
The Prime Minister congratulated him on passing the board exams and asked him about his ambitions in life.
Saifi told the prime minister that he was preparing for JEE Mains that will take place in September and wished to go into an IIT. “After completing my engineering, I want to be an IAS officer,” he said. When asked about his hobbies, he said, “I love writing about current issues like GST, demonization, etc.”
The Prime Minister was astonished to know that he also likes to write about such key topics in addition to studies.
“I am glad to know that you are reading and writing about these important topics. Writing helps you to improve your thinking and learning skills.”
Usman told the Prime Minister that he was very interested in mathematics.
The Prime Minister advised him to learn Vedic math online.
“I will definitely follow the Prime Minister’s advice,” Usman told local reporters.
