Prof. of Manipal University, Jaipur According to President NN Sharma, MUJ has created knowledge through research and innovation since its foundation in 2011, and above all to improve society and local needs. MUJ is a leading example of creating knowledge through research based on social needs. Numerous research projects with social issues have been completed at the MUJ. In research with social issues MUJ Some notable successes from::

  • Development of multifunctional Jaipur hand Jaipur is known all over the world for economical foot prostheses. H. Jaipur Foot. In this series, Manipal University Jaipur in collaboration with Peltover Technology Private Limited (a company of MUJ students) developed highly economical artificial hands. Jaipur Hand, developed by MUJ, costs less than 15,000 rupees and works much better. The mechanical version has been entrusted to the Disability Assistance Committee of Bhagwan Mahavir and his proposal is that the automated version will be worked on.

  • Artificial bones (artificial bones) – By MUJ Mechanical engineering department Faculty members have developed biocompatible artificial bones that can replace human bones that have been damaged by severe fractures, diseases, etc. This would not require surgery to remove the metal implant.

  • Unbreakable and fireproof tiles Marble dust becomes an environmental hazard. Researchers at the MUJ have developed an unbreakable and fireproof floor tile using this threat as an opportunity. The cost is almost the same as that of a normal ceramic tile, making it unbreakable and fireproof.

  • Industrial class face protection at the present time Protective face protection has become an essential requirement in the fight against the Kovid 19 epidemic. In this episode MUJ has developed an industrial-class face shield and donated 500 such shields to the Rajasthan police.

MUJ Particular attention has been paid to research in and the evidence for this can be seen in the publications of faculty members in prestigious journals. The quality of research currently measured by SciVal’s Field Impact Factor is well above MUJ’s global average. Shortly after its foundation, the faculty members of the MUJ managed to receive external grants from DST, DBT, ICSSR, CSIR etc. The MUJ was provided with the Atal Incubation Center by NITI Aayog, Government of India, to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. To date, AIC-MUJ has launched around 15 startups, most of which have received private and public funding. The university offers students various platforms on which they can present their innovative ideas and market their products via functions such as system software and networks.

To make room for societal research, the MUJ has established state-of-the-art research facilities, including “Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Lab”, “Central Analytical Facility”, “Multi-Scale High-End Computing Facility”, “Dassault-CATIA Lab” and others Are included.
