In order to implement the 2020 national education policy in the country, the education department has now formed various committees to submit its proposals and recommendations to the government.
In a government resolution published on September 8, the department announced the formation of a five-member coordinating committee to put together proposals from experts. The coordinating committee, made up of officials from the Pune and Chandrapur Zilla parishes, the State Council for Education Research and Training, and the Balbharti State Publishing Bureau, has to submit its report to the government by October 15.
“The committee will compile proposals from various stakeholders from the past and the days ahead. A draft directive would be prepared for its implementation in the state, ”explains the GR.
After the Union’s Cabinet adopted the 2020 National Education Policy last month, the State Ministry of Education held several consultations with experts and stakeholders about its implementation.
“All suggestions and recommendations made in these consultation meetings will be taken into account for the report,” said a member of the coordination committee.
