The government of Madhya Pradesh decided on July 27, 2020 to conduct final and fourth-term final exams in September under the Open Book System, with students writing papers at home, an official said. When studying with an open book, students can use books or notes at home to write answers to questions.

The decision will ensure that so many 5.71-lakh students are able to write their final and post-graduate exams in the fourth semester from the safety of their home, thereby minimizing the risk of infection, the official said.

After the students wrote their exam at home, they must submit their answer sheets to collection points that are set up in large numbers nationwide, he added.

In addition, students can also submit their answer sheets by mail or email, the official said.
He said the results of this research, which will cover 50 percent of previous year’s weight marks, will be released in October.

These final exams for the last academic year (2019-20) could not be performed due to the coronavirus outbreak and subsequent ban, which was enforced in late March.

Registration deadline for BVP CET law extended until July 30th
