Jalandhar: One of the LPU’s alumni, Chamandeep Singh Sandhu from the Electronics & Communication Diploma 2011, was recently included in the top list of the “20 Inspiring Sikhs Worldwide”. The monthly magazine ‘Urban Mélange’, a mix of old and new lifestyles with a contemporary twist, has forwarded this list in its latest issue from August 2020. Dubbed ‘The Versatile Man’, Chamandeep is all rolled into one – a British Army Man, model, singer, influencer, humanitarian and more. Chamandeep stands uniquely among 19 other prominent academics, politicians, social activists, philanthropists, and others.

Chamandeep had interacted live with LPU students just the day before, where he shared that he wears different hats because he always makes sure that he puts his best foot forward in all of his work. Referring to his juniors at LPU, especially new students, Chamandeep shared, “To be successful in life, you should chase your dreams, follow your heart, and always work hard. Whatever you do, put your heart into it and everything will be fine. Whatever I am today is only thanks to the LPU, where I met people of different ethnicities. I always remember the great learning and activity environment here. I miss the campus, especially the rich hostel, the life here. “
