  • Students who failed in all five subjects are also promoted based on the project work
  • The time was set until July 20 to publish the result.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has decided to move the failed 9th and 11th grade students to the next class without exams this time. In fact, the organization will now promote such students to the next class based on the project work. According to media reports, the organization has also issued an official announcement. Previously, students in these classes had to take an additional exam to clarify the maximum of two failed subjects. The transport in the next class takes place only after passing the additional examination. This time, however, the additional examination is not carried out in view of the corona epidemic.

How will the advertising take place?

According to a letter from the KVS Commissioner Priya Thakur, the school evaluates the students based on the project work they have done if they fail in all five subjects of the 9th or 11th school year. On this basis, he will advance to the next class. This decision was made after the proposal to give another opportunity through additional school level testing. Below this, the failed student has to prepare the project work, which is assessed based on the teacher number. The organization has set a time until July 20 to publish the result.

The project work is based on the curriculum

The topics of the project work are determined based on the curriculum. Students are given a week to prepare the project. The project must then be submitted online. The organization made it clear that the project work students had to fulfill their responsibilities independently. However, the subject teacher was allowed to interact with and question the students implementing the project.
