THIRUVNANTHAPURAM: The Entrance Examination Commissioner’s Office has published the secured entrance assessment of candidates who took the engineering / pharmacy entrance exam held on July 16.

The results are available on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. Candidates can register via the link “KEAM-2020 Candidate Portal” on their homepage. Of the 71,742 students who attended both of the engineering entrance examination papers, 56,599 students qualified for Engineering Stream. Out of 52,145 students who turned up for access to the pharmacy course, 44,390 students qualified.

Candidates who did not appear for one or both of the examination papers, and those who scored less than 10 points in each paper at the entrance (with the exception of SC / ST candidates), were disqualified from the engineering stream. Candidates who did not achieve a minimum score of 10 from the index of 480 (excluding SC / ST candidates) have been disqualified under Pharmacy Stream. The results of 2094 candidates in engineering / pharmacy were withheld for various reasons. The results of these candidates will be published as soon as the reasons for withholding the results are clarified.

The answer keys for the technical approval test were published on July 17th, 2020. Due to some complaints, six questions were removed from the assessment in Engineering Paper 1 (Physics). The score for the remaining 66 questions was multiplied by (72/66) to determine the score in Engineering Paper I (Physics). In Engineering Paper I (chemistry) and Engineering Paper II (mathematics) no questions were removed from the assessment. The evaluation of the OMR answer scripts is computerized and no re-evaluation of the answer scripts or re-examination of the grades is provided in this evaluation system.

Those candidates who have qualified for the technical entrance exam must submit / review the grades they achieved in the proficiency test (plus two or equivalent) in math, physics, and chemistry / computer science / biotechnology / biology in order to prepare for the 2020 Engineering Ranking. The option to submit / review grades online is available until September 10, 2020 on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in.
