NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Board postponed the DCET and PGCET exams to October.

According to the new schedule, the DCET will take place on October 14th and the PGCET on October 13th and 14th.

The announcement on DCET states: “Due to the current COVID-19 situation in the state, the entrance test for DCET-2020 for admission to engineering courses of the 2nd year / 3rd semester was changed as part of the lateral entry plan, which was scheduled for August 9th, 2020 to take place, postponed until 07-10-2020. As different university and other departmental exams were scheduled on the same dates, the entrance exam will now take place on October 14th, 2020, with government approval, as students receive approval to reschedule the DCET 2020 exam dates. ”

The PGCET Postponement Notice stated, “Due to the current COVID-19 situation in the state, the PGCET-2020 entrance exam for admission to MBA, MCA, ME / M. Tech / M. Arch courses is scheduled to take place on 08.08.2020 & 08.08.2020 have been postponed to October 06, 2020 and October 07, 2020.
