Five students from the state capital hit 100 percent on the JEE Main exam held earlier this month after being postponed twice in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The result for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) -Main was announced late at night on Friday.

The engineering college admission exam was conducted September 1-6 under strict precautions and social distancing measures due to COVID-19.
Relocated entrances and exits for candidates, disinfectant at the gate, the distribution of masks and keeping the distance while the candidates queued were among the scenes observed in exam centers across the country.
A total of 8.58 Lakh candidates had signed up for the JEE Mains exam for admission to engineering courses at IITs, NITs, and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), while only 74 percent of them showed up for the exam.
Increasing the number of exam centers, alternative seating plans, fewer candidates per room, and staggered entry and exit were among the steps taken by the National Testing Agency to safely conduct the crucial exam.
Based on the results of JEE Mains Paper 1 and Paper 2, the best 2.45 lakh candidates can apply for the JEE Advanced exam, which is a one-stop exam for admission the 23 leading Indian Technology Institutes (IITs). JEE-Advanced will take place on September 27th.
