A total of 24 candidates scored 100 percentage points in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) carried out by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in January and April to September 2020.
Telangana’s Chukka Tanuja is the only candidate out of a total of 24 to achieve a 100 percentile.
Eight candidates from Telangana, five from Delhi, four from Rajasthan, three from Andhra Pradesh, two from Haryana and one each from Maharashtra and Gujarat each scored 100 percent.
The 2020 JEE (main) exam for B.E./B.Tech was held twice this year in computer-aided test mode.
The first exam was carried out between January 7th and 9th in six shifts and the second JEE (main) exam in ten shifts from September 2nd to 6th.
“The ranks of the candidates were determined taking into account the two NTA assessments of each candidate taken for the JEE (Main) JAN 2020 and APRIL / SEPTEMBER 2020 exams and according to the guidelines already provided on the website,” he said Declaration by the NTA.
The NTA score for Paper-II (B.Arch and B. Planning) will be declared later.
According to the NTA, a total of 8.41 lakh candidates have signed up for the April / September exam, of which 6.35 lakh have appeared.
Candidates had the opportunity to see their responses to the questionnaires and challenge the answer keys from September 8-10.
