Jee Main 2020 exam analysis on September 2nd, 2020
NEW DELHI: The joint entrance examination (JEE) for BE or BTech (JEE main paper I) started today, Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020. The examination for the JEE main paper I is carried out in two shifts. The first shift of the exam started at 9:30 a.m. while the second shift started at 2:30 p.m. The main JEE exams will continue through September 6th.

Over 9 Lakh candidates have registered for the JEE Mains exam for admission to engineering courses in IITs, NITs, and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs). The exams will be conducted in 660 centers across India for six days through September 6th.

Running the nationwide engineering exam, slated for April, has been vehemently opposed by members of the opposition and several students, having been postponed twice in recent months due to the coronavirus and floods that have affected many parts of the country .

The students who showed up today on the first shift for the JEE Main Paper I (BE / BTech) exam reported that the paper was of moderate difficulty. The students also said that they had no problems in the centers as all safety norms were properly followed.
