The Vice-Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, inaugurated the State Council for Education, Research and Training (SCERT) on Saturday to support the administration in implementing measures to develop human resources.
The LG also launched the ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) program via online mode.
Speaking at the event, Sinha said, “Society cannot move an inch on the path to development without education. Health care and education are the cornerstones of development. “
In Jammu and Kashmir, SCERT is said to operate under the National Council for Educational Research and Training (NCERT), which is the country’s top educational research institution.
On Friday, the LG in Raj Bhavan introduced the SPARROW (Smart Performance Appraisal Report Recording Online Window) system for administrative officials in Jammu and Kashmir.
