An Alorus from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has won the prestigious Zinnov Award 2020 for its contribution in the field of artificial intelligence and data analysis, according to an IIT press release.

The award is given in recognition of the contribution of individuals and organizations who, in addition to diversity, have made innovations based on business continuity possible.

“We warmly congratulate Sunil Kumar Vuppala on this prestigious award. It’s a proud moment for IIT Roorkee. His performance will inspire both other alumni and current students, ”said the director of the Ajit K Chaturvedi Institute. Vuppala, an IIT Roorkee graduate of the Electronics and Communications Engineering Department in 2004, said he was delighted to receive the award and attributed it to the technology-driven education of his alma mater, which laid the foundation for his solid foundation in the emerging technology domain. Over the past 11 years, the Zinnov Confluence Series has honored numerous individuals and companies for their contribution to global technology and for changing the global ecosystem.
