IIM Kozhikode was rated 15+ in the Asia-Pacific region and 101+ worldwide in the 4th edition of the Global Executive MBA (EMBA) Ranking 2020 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) managed by the QS World University Ranking Team.
Worldwide, IIMK is now in the 101+ category with HEC Lausanne (Switzerland) and Kent State University (USA). Among the institutes in the Asia-Pacific region, the IIMK is equivalent to the ISB Hyderabad and the University of Texas in Arlington (China Center) in the 15+ category.
In this edition of the ranking, QS consisted of nine indicators, which were summarized under five headings: career results, diversity, employer reputation, leadership profile and thought leadership. Based on the five indicator groups, QS evaluated 161 global executive MBA programs that were qualified to participate from 35 countries. At 17th in the Asia Pacific region, career outcomes are the strongest category for IIM Kozhikode, followed by indicators of employer reputation and thought leadership that emerged as the primary drivers of IIMK’s global ranking.
Debashis Chatterjee, director of IIM Kozhikode, said: “We hope to be able to use our other recognized academic programs to break new ground worldwide in the coming years to put India on the global education map.”
IIM Kozhikode has also skipped a spot to be among the top 5 IIMs in the NIRF India Rankings 2020: Management, recently published by the Ministry of Human Resources.
