BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh has never opposed taking university exams in the last year and will complete the process and announce the results before September 30, a senior official said on Friday.

The Supreme Court has ruled that states and universities cannot sponsor students without holding final exams by September 30th.

“We have never spoken out against holding final exams like we do in some other states. Our preparations are ongoing and we will complete the process and announce the results before September 30,” University Secretary General Anupam Rajan told PTI.

A bank, led by Justice Ashok Bhushan, upheld the University Grants Commission’s decision to hold exams for the senior year, saying that if a state believes it can’t take exams by the date stated during the pandemic, it must contact the UGC for new dates.
