DU Open Book Exam News: DU Open Book Exam Phase II: Colleges to send seating plans to students in advance
NEW DELHI: Delhi University has issued guidelines to its colleges for conducting the second phase of the open book exams, which will begin on September 14th. Colleges have been instructed to adhere to strict social distancing standards and maintain a standard of hygiene in accordance with government guidelines.

The colleges will also require students to fill out a self-declaration form prior to admission to the exam centers. Center staff were instructed to wear masks, carry thermal guns, and keep student seats spaced during the exam.

“The college or department must manually take over the attendance of the students with a signature, a unique paper code of the paper, the date and the session of the exam. The distance must be respected,” the university explained.

DU has also asked colleges to pre-send students seating plans or plans with their email IDs or WhatsApp numbers. Notices about social distancing must be posted around the campus.

It is important for students to fill out the mandatory self-declaration form, bring their own answer sheets and reach the examination center on time. Students must also keep social distance and wear masks at all times.

The second phase of OBE will be held in a mixed online / offline mode for those senior year students of UG / PG courses (regular and alumni), including SOL and NCWEB who either didn’t show up or didn’t submit theirs Answer scripts in the first phase of the exam.
