DU OBE: 2,000 PG, UG students in the last year who appear today in the 2nd examination phase
NEW DELHI: Almost 2,000 Delhi University (DU) PhD and undergraduate students will appear in the second phase of the open book exams on Monday. According to Professor Balaram Pani, Dean of Colleges, DU, 10,000 students have registered for the second phase of the online open-book exams, and 3,000 of them have chosen to take the exams in the dedicated centers.

The first phase of the online open book exams for postgraduate and final year students took place between August 10 and August 31. The second phase is carried out for those students who were unable to take the exams in August.

In the second phase, students can take the exams online or in the university’s examination centers.

Pani said there are 10 such centers and 250 School of Open Learning students have been assigned to each, while college students can take the exams at their respective colleges.

He said 7,000 students will appear online for exams.

Students were asked to bring their own answer sheets and writing materials, and seating plans were sent to them in advance, officials said.

The colleges were instructed to adhere to socially distant norms and hygiene practices.
