The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment of Deakin University, Australia, invites PhD students to apply for a scholarship.

Scholarships Duration:over 3 years.
Grant award:$ 28,092 per year
Eligibility:To be eligible, you must:

  • be either a national or an international candidate
  • meet the Deakin doctoral requirements
  • You must enroll full-time and have an honors degree (first class) or an equivalent standard master’s degree with an essential research component.

  • Additional desirable criteria include:
    • Applicants should have an excellent grade (H1 or HD) and proven academic writing skills in an Honors or MSc research program. We are looking for candidates with interest and experience in fish biology and ecology and ideally in fishery genetics (but not absolutely necessary).
