HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Tuesday reassured the students who appeared in both the JEE Main and NDA exams that they shouldn’t worry, even if the dates of their two exams don’t match. On Twitter, the HRD minister informed the students, who appear on both the JEE network and the NDA, that the matter has been investigated and that the students do not have to worry.

“I have received explanations from many students about the collision of the data from #JEEMain with #NDA. The matter has been investigated. Students who appear in JEE (Main) and could not update to appear in the NDA exam scheduled for September 6th should not worry. @DG_NTA will ensure that the two exams do not conflict for candidates who appear in both exams, ”tweeted HRD Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal.

Both the JEE Main and UPSC NDA NA exams fall on September 6th.

In the past, JEE was supposed to take place from July 18-23, but was later postponed to September 1-6. UPSC NDA NA (I) and (II) will be held on September 6th together.

In its latest release, NTA asked candidates to update their application forms by marking a “YES” in the column provided asking if the candidate was also registered for the UPSC NDA NA exam.

“Candidates who will appear on September 6, 2020 for the UPSC NDA and NA Exam (I) 2020 will be informed that they will also need to be updated as ‘YES’ in their online application form during the correction period for this to happen there will be no conflict schedule for JEE (Main) with NDA and NA testing (I), 2020, “says the communication.

The last date for changes in the application form was July 20.
