NEW DELHI: The online registration for the Delhi Police Constable Recruitment Exam to be conducted by the Personnel Selection Committee (SSC) ends today, ie Monday 07 September 2020. Candidates applying for the SSC Constable Recruitment Exam apply, can submit their application by 11:30 PM today on the Commission’s official website – ssc.nic.in.

The Personnel Selection Committee is conducting this recruitment test to fill up to 5,846 job vacancies in the Delhi police force.

The SSC will conduct a Computer Aided Investigation of the Delhi Police (CBE) from November 27, 2020 to December 14, 2020. The exam consists of a CBE, Physical Endurance and Measurement (PE & MT) test, followed by the medical evaluation of the recommended candidates.

The SSC conducts the CBE in English and Hindi only. The physical endurance and measurement test (PE & MT) is planned and carried out by the Delhi police in Delhi.

The computer-based exam consists of an objective multiple-choice paper with 100 questions with 100 points and the following composition:

  • Part A: General knowledge / news (50 points)
  • Part B: Argumentation (25 points)
  • Part -C: Numerical ability (15 points)
  • Part D: Computer basics, MS Excel, MS Word, communication, Internet, WWW and web browser, etc. (10 points)

The total duration of the CBE is 90 minutes. A negative mark of 0.25 marks is displayed for each incorrect answer.

The final result will be announced by the commission based on candidates’ performance in the computer-based exam, provided they meet the PE&MT qualification and other conditions set out in the exam notification.
