Delhi LG nods to hold JEE, NEET exams in town: Sources
NEW DELHI: Delhi Governor Anil Baijal has given permission to hold JEE and NEET exams in the city despite objections from the Delhi government to student safety amid the COVID-19 pandemic. A proposal to conduct JEE and NEET exams in Delhi was made at the latest Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) meeting, attended by the L-G and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

“The Delhi government recommended in its file sent to the LG on Saturday not to hold the exams in view of the safety of the students. The Delhi Prime Minister had also decided against the implementation of JEE and NEET in view of the pandemic. The LG returned the file, but he gave his permission to hold the exams, “sources said.
