The center’s staff took care of measures such as compliance with social distancing norms, the use of hand sanitisers, and thermal screening.
The center’s staff also made white markings on the paths outside the exam centers to ensure that students maintain social distance at all times.
Posters were posted throughout the center detailing health measures such as hand washing, use of masks and social distancing.
Earlier Thursday, the Union’s Minister of Education, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, stated that the safety and future of students were the top priority with regard to the behavior of JEE and NEET in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. He said several steps, including increasing the number of exam centers, had been taken.
The National Testing Agency will conduct the NEET on September 13th and the JEE between September 1st and 6th.
